Dental implants can be confusing!
We believe in keeping implants simple. The way to simplify implants is to have good communication between everyone involved, “The Dental Implant Team”.
By visualizing the final design of the restorations before any implants are placed, the restorative and surgical clinicians have an opportunity to identify potential problems and make necessary modifications to implant selection, location, and overall treatment plan prior to actually placing any implants, thus improving treatment predictability and success. Good articulated study models and quality panoramic films make diagnosing easy and strait forward.
Good articulated study models and quality panoramic films make diagnosing easy and strait foward.
We believe surgical guides are the most important part of implant dentistry and should be used for all implant cases. A surgical guide is the restorative clinician’s prescription to the surgical clinician. It is just as important to use a surgical guide for a single tooth as a complete arch.
Fixed Restorations:
Implants are being designed with many innovations to make the surgical and restorative procedures much easier. Osseointegration is optimized with the nano rough surfaces of the implants and higher bone levels can be achieved with the new platform designs which in turn gives us predictable soft tissue contours.
Final impressions can made as simply as taking a traditional impression or digital scanning of a healing abutment (Encode® Biomet 3-i).
Implants can be expensive and fees vary from case to case due to the degree of difficulty. Estimates should be given before implants are placed.

Patient Specific Restorations (PSR) are the future of implant dentistry. Teeth aren't round and trying to make teeth on round implant abutments can be difficult. PSR Abutments are titanium and zirconia custom abutments that are manufactured using CAD/CAM technology.
We have incorporated 3 shape scanners, which employ the market’s most advanced 3D scanning technologies, providing the utmost in accuracy and detail for the most advanced indications.

Removable restorations:
McGill Consensus Statement:
" As a minimum treatment objective, mandibular two-implant overdentures should be the first-choice standard of care for edentulous patients".

Locator® Attachments
For economy, ease of delivery, and predictable sucess; you can't beat the Locator® Attachments for implants. The Locator® Attachments are now available for most of the major implant platforms making this a viable consideration for many treatment plans involving multiple implants. Few things in restorative dentistry have proven to be as simple, esthetic, and cost effective while providing such high patient and doctor satisfaction.

For bars and hybrid dentures, we prefer to use PSR Milled Bars from Biomet 3-i. The bars are milled from a solid block of titanium and are available for all of the major implant platforms.
